A Look at My Destination Elopement Packages

As elopements have risen in popularity over recent years, so too have destination elopements, and let me just start off by saying that I am ALL for it. What I love most as an elopement photographer is how they allow couples to celebrate their love in a way that’s truly authentic to them. Whether they tie the knot at a local courthouse, or they choose to do so across the world, the freedom and flexibility that elopements give is something that can’t be overstated. As much as I love all my elopements, today we’re here to talk specifically about destination elopements. Let’s take a look at how my packages for destination elopements work, the appeal of these celebrations, some of my bucket list locations for destination elopements, and more. 

My Upcoming Destination Elopements

Throughout my years of coverage as a destination elopement photographer I’ve had the honor of traveling to some pretty incredible locations to document my couples, and I’m happy to say that my 2025 schedule is looking pretty exciting as well! So far my travel plans include Chicago and Kauai for US locations, and then Australia, Mexico City, and potentially Greece for out of the country travels. I am beyond thrilled for these adventures, and I still have some flexibility to include more adventures into this mix. A Look at My Destination Elopement Packages

With how individual, unique, and personal every elopement is, I try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to my package options to provide the best experience for my couples. I do this by starting off with a discovery call with any potential couple. On this call we discuss the vision, location, plans, etc that the couple has so that I can get an idea of what their elopement will entail and how much coverage they’ll need.

From there I create a custom, all inclusive package for every one of my destination elopement couples. Each of my clients receives a custom proposal with their coverage amount, travel costs, and any additional fees already included. This keeps things simple and stress free, as they don’t have to worry about getting a fee later down the line, or having to track multiple invoices!

What is Included in My Destination Elopement Packages

Breathtaking Photos

There are a few things couples can expect in their packages when they book me to document their destination elopement. The first thing to expect is a complete gallery of high quality images that let you relive the best day of your lives exactly as it happened. I pride myself on the quality of my work, and always do the most to ensure that my couples are completely satisfied with the quality and quantity of the photos from their elopement.

Planning Assistance

One of THE most important things I include into EVERY one of my elopement packages, destination or not, is planning assistance for my couples. Unlike traditional weddings, you more than likely haven’t attended an elopement before, and thus don’t have any prior experiences to pull from. This is where my planning assistance comes into play, as I’ve had a hand in planning tons of elopements throughout the years. From location scouting, permit acquisition, researching marriage laws, finding and sourcing local vendors, and SO much more, I do everything in my power to make this process as simple as possible. I want my couples to be able to relax and fully enjoy their elopement, not be stuck and stressed out worrying about things like where they should have their ceremony at!

A Fun and Stress Free Experience

Continuing on that same train of thought, included in every one of my destination elopement packages is an assurance of a fun and stress free experience. I know how much this day means to my couples, and that’s why I take the experience piece of my package offerings SO seriously. It’s more than just planning assistance, though that is a major part of reducing the stress of your day, it’s about how you feel throughout the most important moments of your elopement. I know when to gas you guys up, when to give you space to enjoy this time with one another, and balance this all in a way that allows you to be present throughout ALL the best moments of your elopement.

Add-On Options Available

In case all of that wasn’t enough, I also wanted to make note of how I offer optional add-ons for you to choose from for your destination elopement package. Some of these come at no extra cost, like props and accessories that I’m able to bring for your elopement. There are also add-ons like additional coverage, a physical album for your elopement, and more that are available for an additional cost. These are totally optional, and if you have questions I’m always down to talk through how these can affect the experience and whether or not they’re the right call for your day!
