There’s nothing quite like celebrating your wedding in the mountains of Colorado with your closest family at your side. Giulia and Tyler knew this, which is why their intimate wedding at the Sunrise Amphitheater in Boulder was such a special experience. These two flew all the way from Jersey with their entire family to celebrate this next chapter in their love story, and I’m so excited to share the highlights with you all!
Their intimate wedding day began with the two getting ready separately at the St Julien Hotel in downtown Boulder. It was a fun and lighthearted morning, with everyone just so excited for what would turn out to be the perfect wedding day. Once everyone was ready, and the bubble machines were filled, it was time to make the short 15 minute drive up to Sunrise Amphitheater.
One of the many reasons I love Sunrise Amphitheater for wedding ceremonies is that you’re able to drive right up to the location. It’s incredibly accessible, which kept things so simple for Giulia, Tyler, and their families. Their nieces and nephews are incredibly important to these two, so incorporating them into their day was a must. They did so in SUCH a fun way, giving each kid a bubble machine to walk down the aisle with. It was such an adorable way to start the ceremony. With the magical backdrop of the Colorado landscape behind them, Giulia and Tyler shared their vows with one another as they officially became newlyweds. After sharing some celebratory drinks from their DIY liquor cart it was time for family photos with this incredible view.
After their intimate wedding ceremony at Sunrise Amphitheater Giulia, Tyler, and I made our way to Chautauqua Park in Boulder for some epic sunset portraits. These iconic rock formations are a staple of any wedding day portraits in Boulder as they’re just breathtaking. We had a blast celebrating this moment together in such a serene and picturesque setting, and of course we had to cap it all off with some champagne for the newlyweds! The evening would end with Giulia and Tyler meeting up with their guests at the Flagstaff House in Boulder for an intimate reception with their family.
Giulia and Tyler’s intimate wedding at Sunrise Amphitheater was exactly what they wanted it to be, a casual yet magical celebration of their love with the ones they care about most at their side. It was the perfect day and I’m so glad that these two chose me to document it for them. If you’d like to book me as your photographer be sure to head to my contact page and send over an inquiry!
